Discussions Focus on Post-ISIS Recovery, Public Health, and Environmental Solutions
Nineveh Plains, Iraq – The President of the Arjaa Institute conducted an official visit to the Nineveh Plains, where he met with Dr. Samer Youssef Habib, District Governor of Al-Hamdaniya, Mr. Rafid Twaya, Eng. Jihan, Director of Al-Hamdaniya Municipality, and Dr. Saadallah Al-Ta’i. The delegation was received with warm hospitality and generosity.
The visit featured constructive and in-depth discussions on pressing issues facing the region, particularly in the aftermath of the war waged by the terrorist organization ISIS, which left devastating human and material losses. Deliberations also focused on strengthening public health services, improving environmental conditions, and identifying practical solutions to support citizens, address past hardships, and enhance living standards while fostering stability and sustainable development.
According to Dr. Serwan comments on the occasion,
“The resilience of the people of Nineveh Plains is truly inspiring. Our mission is to work alongside local authorities and communities to address the challenges of recovery, rebuild what has been lost, and create a foundation for a healthier, more sustainable, and prosperous future.”
